In the 1980s, the Sekiguchi toy company of Japan produced a series of clown music boxes. These music boxes featured a variety of figures (boy, girl, rabbit, etc) depicted with different instruments and flowers, depending on the pose and color scheme.

Each hand-drawn copy in this series of ten has been treated with hot USP refined white beeswax, leaving the pieces water-proof in addition to smelling like honey.
Tomoe River paper is thinner than the Midori MD paper used in previous works, making the piece more translucent but also more delicate.
Ships flat in a durable mailer, wrapped in glassine paper, and sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard.
