This art doll was created in the first week of April of 2022 and is made entirely of wool (domestically sourced), with a shape inspired by the magnificent Fat-Tailed Sheep.

Needle felting is a very slow and laborious process, especially when you are working with very soft, fine, fibers like Merino - this piece took around a day and a half to complete.

The process ends with the burning away of any loose fuzz, which results in a crisply smooth finish.

Material: Merino wool, in natural undyed white, lavender, and black.
Process: Needle felted.
Ruff: Endearingly irregular and not directly attached to the body (it can be roated)
Rump: Voluptuous
Size: 6.25 inches tall including ears (5.5 not including ears)

Needle-felted works are very sturdy in many ways, but quite delicate in others! Please read on to find out how to keep your new piece in the best condition possible.

Spot clean only, please!
Washing machines will cause irreparable changes to the fibers.

Be wary of pets!
Many a good art doll has been mailed in for repairs after being snagged by a dog or cat.

Best if kept away from backpacks, dirt, etc
While it looks like a toy, this is a soft sculpture and is not meant to be excessively handled.
