Needle Felted Art Doll: Yolk and White Flower Bunny [7 inches tall, 100% Wool]
The initial inspiration for these figures was the majestic Fat-Tailed Sheep.
Needle felting is a very slow and laborious process, especially when working with very fine fibers like Merino. This piece took a little over two working days, start to finish.
The process begins with making a core figure out of untreated wool and ends with burning away loose hairs with a hot metal rod. The result is a compact form with about as much squish to it as a foam children's ball with a smoothly fuzzy finish.
Material: Merino wool, in natural undyed white, pastel pink, and black.
Process: Needle felted.
Rump: Voluptuous
Size: 7 inches
